About A. S. KHAN COACH
A. S. Khan is described as the senior-most and highly qualified tennis coach in Visakhapatnam.
Prior to tennis, he was an international volleyball player and won a national men’s gold medal in volleyball.
He later switched to tennis, competing and becoming a national champion multiple times in his age category.
Since about 1990, he has been dedicating himself to coaching tennis and shaping young players in Visakhapatnam.
Notable Students & Contributions

He coached Pratima Nandamuru, who became Visakhapatnam’s first-ever girl to become a national school games champion.

N. Sai Kartik, who played for the Indian Junior Davis Cup team, trained under him.

Saketh Myneni — who later became an Asian Games gold medallist and represented India in the Davis Cup — practiced with him during his formative years (in Visakhapatnam).

A.S Khan is a volleyball international player, who later took tennis as a second love and did enough in the veteran circuit.

Most experienced, educated and qualified in Visakhapatnam, A.S Khan is a volleyball international level player, who later took tennis as a second love and did enough in the veteran circuit. He realized his teaching skills and went on to do NIS diploma and ITF courses.
